Apple unveiled yesterday iPhone 3G. It has much better functionality and twice cheaper than the old version.
The new quad-band iPhone 3G gives users fast Internet access over tri-band HSDPA. Automatically switches between 3G, Wi-Fi and EDGE, the iPhone 3G makes it easy to multi-task with simultaneous voice and data communications.
iPhone 3G has a built-in GPS, which allows customers to find their location, get directions, and see traffic.
An 8GB black case model will sell for $199 starting, while a 16GB white case optional model will cost $299.
I have also to mention, that AT&T offers new unlimited voice and data plans for the iPhone 3G.
- data plan: $30 per month for simple and $45 for business users
- voice plan: starting from $39.95

The company offers a GSM version with Wi-Fi, the same as AT&T does, but as you can expect, this one also provides support for T-Mobile services, including myFaves and HotSpot@Home.
The phone is available for $150 with a service agreement.
